The Hudson Witch Project takes place tomorrow.
The event is the brainchild of Lea Durocher, owner of Centre Decor Hudson, who thought it would be fun to see an assorted grouping of ghouls wending their way though Hudson’s streets all while raising funds for the Hudson Fire Department’s Christmas Basket Fund.
Anyone is welcome to join the group, just head to the Fire Station at 3pm tomorrow and bring a minimum $5.00 donation.
The group will then lurch along Main Road to the beat of a drum band to eventually arrive at the Community Centre where there are family friendly activities planned.
There will be a prize for the best costume, a $100 gift certificate for famed Hudson eatery, Carambola donated by Jeffrey Quenneville from Quenneville-Côté & Associates of Raymond James Ltd.
And, Jim Beauchamp from Cunningham’s Pub made a $100 donation himself and said anyone donating $20 or more will get a $5 Cunningham’s gift certificate.
To join in on the fun, to make a donation or for more information drop by and see Lea at Centre Decor Hudson, 33 Yacht Club Road or give her a call on 450-458-5121.
You can donate online at www.youcaring.com/thehudsonwitchproject. (There is a fee associated with online donations.)
And look out for Lea.
