For a second day dozens of schools are closed throughout the region.
Here’s the list:
In the Lester B. Pearson School Board, high schools closed are:
Macdonald High School in St. Anne-de-Bellevue
Pierrefonds Comprehensive High School and Riverdale High School in Pierrefonds
Closed elementary schools:
Pierre Elliott Trudeau Elementary in Vaudreuil
Terry Fox Elementary, Kingsdale Academy, St. Charles Elementary and St. Anthony Elementary all in Pierrefonds.
Continuing Education Centres closed today are:
The West Island Career Centre (WICC) and Sources Adult & Career Centre (SAAC) both in Pierrefonds.
All other schools under the LBPSB will reopen at their usual hours today.
Certain bus routes have been suspended for the day.
Individual schools will be contacting parents to clarify the situation and detail affected bus routes.
The Commission Scolaire Marguerite Bourgeoys has also announced school closures for today, they are:

As well, daycare services will also be closed today.
Because of the closure of the Galipeault bridge, there will not be school transportation for students who attend schools on the island of Montreal or outside the commission’s territory.

All schools are open Tuesday but in light of severe flooding and road closures, it is telling parents to expect important transportation delays and changes in routes in the following cities and municipalities: Boisbriand, Deux-Montagnes, Oka, Pointe-Calumet, Saint-Eustache, Saint-Joseph-du-Lac, Saint-Placide et Sainte-Marthe-sur-le-Lac
