Super Day For The Parkinson Super Walk

Bolstered by terrific weather and an army of dedicated volunteers, Sunday’s second annual West Island Parkinson Super Walk in support of Parkinson’s disease patients was an unqualified success. Nearly $10,000 was raised for the Quebec region of Parkinson Canada, and it was my pleasure and privilege to be invited to preside over the official welcoming ceremony. Kris Leblanc of the Jewel provided his usual yeoman’s service as on-site technical director and demonstrated his trademark consummate professionalism by sporting the radio station colours, while I opted for my l’Equipeur discount rack shirt in a colour I like to call “autumn bile”.
