A province wide sweep carried out by SQ investigators specialized in internet child exploitation, netted nine suspects in our area and two in Quebec City over the past couple of days.

One of those arrested is from Valleyfield.
His identity and the charges he’s facing haven’t been released.
He’ll have a court date in the coming days.

Hudson residents are reminded that if you need branches to be picked up, today is the deadline to take advantage of the service.

You have to register by calling town hall (450-458-5347, ext 207), pick ups will be done on Tuesdays throughout May.

Asian stock markets rallied today with Japan’s Nikkei finishing
up 261 points.
The Hang Seng in Hong Kong closed up 295 points.
And our dollar is trading up slightly overseas this morning at
78.36 cents U-S.
