Long-term closures start today on the Décarie Expressway and will be in place until the fall of 2018.
The closures are required to rebuild a section of Highway 15 as part of the Turcot project.
As of 5 this morning:
Partial closure of Highway 15 northbound (Décarie) – until the end of November 2018
Closure of one lane on two of the highway in the Turcot interchange
Closure of one lane on three of the Décarie motorway between the Turcot interchange and the Notre-Dame-de-Grâce tunnel
Closure of Highway 15 northbound (Décarie) entrance from Sherbrooke Street – until September 2018
Detour: take the next entrance at boulevard Édouard-Montpetit
Closing of exit # 64 – Route 138 / Sherbrooke Street from Highway 15 northbound (Décarie) – until the end of October 2018
Detour: use the exit 66 – Côte-Saint-Luc Road / Queen Mary Road.
As significant congestion is expected in the area of Highway 15, officials are recommending that road users plan their trips and make use of carpooling and public transit, where possible.
