The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has issued a recall for a President’s Choice “Low Iron Infant Formula Powder” that was sold across the country due to possible Cronobacter contamination.

According to the Agency; “Food contaminated with Cronobacter may not look or smell spoiled but can still make you sick. Although Cronobacter is not commonly linked to human illness, in rare cases it can cause serious or fatal infections.”
Consumers who have the product in their home should either throw it out or return to the point of purchase.
The recall was triggered by Canadian food Inspection Agency testing and may lead to further recalls.
