All three of my daughters attended Centre Prescolaire Hudson (my oldest is now 18 years old) and I have vivid memories of this annual activity.
Every year, following Hallowe’en, Francine Felx, the tireless founder and director of the Pre-School collects extra Halloween candies with the help of parent and student volunteers.
The loot is then packaged into stockings for the children at Ste-Justine-Hospital.
This is an initiative that has been going on for over two decades now and last year alone the children put together more than 340 stocking for the young patients.
You can help by bringing any candy that wasn’t handed at your door or the excess that was given to your children to Centre Prescolaire Hudson.
They are located in the Wyman Church Basement, 513 Main Road, Hudson.
Candy drop-offs can be made Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9am until 2:30pm.
You can also get in touch with francine by calling 450-45-5972.
