Honoring The Memory Of A Solid Citizen

The memory of a popular and respected St. Lazare citizen will be honored again this year at the annual Bryan Liew Race, set for this Sunday at Westwood Junior High School. Bryan Liew, who was track-and-field coach at Westwood and a pillar of a local running club, died suddenly and unexpectedly at the age of 42 in 2013. Along with Bryan’s widow, Elizabeth Harder, two of his fellow club members, Claudia Wager and Patrick Lepage, created the Bryan Liew Foundation and organized the race, which is now in its fourth year. Information on registration and other details on this popular and ever-growing community event are available at this link.
