All three of my daughters have traveled or are traveling downtown five days a week to go to school in the city.
The advantages have far outweighed any minor logistical problems posed by the travel.
To that end, I am honoured to have been asked to moderate a panel discussion as part of the Trafalgar School for Girls’ “Smart Parenting In the City” speaker series.
This installment, entitled “Fostering Independence”, takes place on December 5th, 7:30pm at the Kirkland Library.
The discussion will provide a meaningful look into how to uplift and empower your teen as an individual.
There will be a question and answer period as well.
The evening will not be specifically aimed at girls’ schools, but will provide insight for the parents of any student curious about what the city has to offer.
Special guests include a panel of students, Old Girls, parents, and staff.
