A Deep Dive Into Montreal’s Colorful Past

Montreal’s history is rich in iconic figures and events – the Richard Riot, the October Crisis, Lili St. Cyr and Brother Andre to name just a few – but dig deeper into the city’s past and you find a whole other level of backstories, replete with quirky settings and unconventional characters. Longtime Montreal journalist and author Kristian Gravenor went off the beaten track in compiling his new book “Montreal: 375 Tales of Eating, Drinking, Living and Loving” to mark the city’s 375th birthday in 2017. Kristian joined us in-studio this morning to talk about the book; please click on the link below to listen to the segment.
