Chicken Nugget Recall

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency reports that a frozen breaded chicken product is being recalled over the fear of salmonella contamination.
Sofina Foods is recalling 800-gram packages of Janes brand Pub Style Chicken Nuggets with a best before date of December 15th.

There have been a few reported illnesses but, the CFIA did not mention on their website where those illnesses occurred nor how serious they were.

It is recommended that you check to see if you have the product and either discard it or return it to the point of purchase.

If you think that you may have become ill because of consuming a recalled product, consult a doctor.
