Breakfast Avec Un Vrai Bonnehomme

“Larger than life” is an overused descriptor, but in the case of Pierre and Stefan Faucher of La Sucrerie de la Montagne in Rigaud, it applies. The father and son owners/operators of one of Quebec’s most legendary sucreries have turned their operation into more than just a sugar shack, offering multiple menus, event hosting and accommodations that attract visitors from around the world. Stefan visited the Jewel 106.7 studio this morning and treated Tom and me to a breakfast of maple glazed bacon, pancakes and maple syrup from their own property. It was even better than it looks.
