Residents of Saint-Clet are entering their eighth day of a boil water advisory.
A water main break over the weekend, forced officials to extend the advisory, which was already in place due to a failure at the water treatment site.
Residents should boil their water for at least one minute before consumption and are reminded to discard ice cubes, beverages and food prepared after July 2, 2018 with tap water.
As for the use of baths, this is acceptable while making sure not to swallow water.
For young children, it is recommended to put very little water in the bath and not to let them play in the water.
Complete information is available on the Town of St-Clet’s website.
